Week 15 Medifast Photos

I was able to finally take updated photos this week. Until now, it has been hard for me to see the difference in myself in the mirror. I know that I have lost weight. Obviously, the scale reads 24 less pounds, and I’m down nearly two dress sizes. However, having a visual of comparing “before” photos side-by-side with “current” photos, really helped put things into perspective. I’m going to swallow all of my pride here, and share the results so far.

My First Photos - yikes!

 And now…

WEEK 15 - my last weigh-in. (I cannot get the editing tool to format this the same as the last one. It’s driving me crazy!!! I apologize for the smaller view)

Medifast Week 15

Remember, this should not be considered my “after” photo, but rather as a ’work in progress’ photo. I am far from finished! For me, the side view was most startling. That is where you can really see how my belly fat has reduced! Consequently, with such smaller circumference I can now wear a size 10/12 instead of 16. When I posed for the first photos, I purposely chose some shorts and a sport bra that were waaaayyy too small, with the idea that I would “shrink into them”. It’s nice that is what’s happening.

My next goals are as follows:

1. 4 more weeks of Medifast Take Shape For Life  - with an option to extend for 8 weeks. (My next order will process and ship this week).

2. Continue daily lunch-hour walk/jogs, with a 2-hour walk/jog on Saturday. I will also begin to introduce free weights, strength training and body sculpting.

3. A goal to lose 15  lbs. by Jan 1st. (that’s only asking for approx. 2 lb. loss per week). More would certainly be welcome!

4. Survive the Holidays WITHOUT GAINING! (my #1 challenge).

  1. Awesome! That’s great progress! You really look different. And I can imagine that you feel a lot different without all those extra pounds. I know I do! I was not brave enough to take ‘before’ photos. In fact, any pictures of me (even fully clothed) from that time period were usually censored into the trash – if I let them be taken at all. So, I applaud you for being able to now see the huge difference! Good for you!

    Keep up the great work!

  8. I started Medifast 4 weeks ago and have already lost 20 lbs. I’d like to lose 80 more, so I’m just at the beginning stages. However, I already feel MUCH better and plan to continue this journey.

    Congrats on your success.
